never ending quest for rock guard
I readily admit to driving my GXP like a granny. I baby the car, avoid tailending people, park in the last slot in the parking lot. But nonetheless the front end of my GXP looks like sheet. I simply am amazed at how easily the paint chips off this car.
I have searched high and low for a rock deflector like this one http://www.wooddash.com/item/PONTIAC...EVILLE_1992_99 which I am buying since I just re-did the paint on the 96, but with no luck for the GXP. So my question is:
Does anyone now of another car with a very similar hood that I can retro fit a deflector for? The older Bonnie hoods are too different to retro. I was thinking about the Dodge Intrepids but I think it has a funky curve that wont work. Basically I am looking for something that is close enough so that I can do minimal drilling/cutting of the deflector.
Any guesses?

its funny when you read a post and it sticks in your head. I just went food shopping
and while walking through the parking lot I was looking at hood line shapes for you. didn't see anything until on the way out.
I drove by an Audi and the hood line looks similar.
But its not listed on the web site you provided

My grother had one, but I am not sure if he'll be home this weekend. if he is, I'll take some measurements.

You could just add some 3m clear coat protector.. It is a clear vinyl type film that is cut to fit and laid on. I have covered my headlights with it.

And one the GXP is painted the whole front end and mirrors are being covered.

I've heard people having real problems with the plastic stuff. Thoughts?
I absolutely WON"T use a car bra. My 96 hood was ruined by a car bra by putting a cloud like haze in the clear coat.
