They have 9005 and 9006 halogens that put out 100 and 80 watts, now i was just thinking, maybe not the 9006s just because those have to be used when theres oncoming traffic, but maybe the 9005s because you only use em when no one is there anyways, are these ok to use in stock housings being that they're so bright?

We could assume since the stock housing is mainly glass in your year that it should hold up. I'm sure someone has put a hotter bulb in before, have you searched for that type of stuff and had any good finds?
The only bulbs I'm aware of having or causing issues is the silverstar 880'* in our stock plastic fog housing. They tend to overheat and burn out.

Stock housings should be find. But your wiring Harness wont
You will want to get or make a High out put wiring harness for the high/low beams.
It uses relays to power the bulbs right form the battery and uses the power form the normal HL switch to turn on the relays.
I Suggest just getting the good HIR bulbs i got if you want A LOT more light then Silver Stars give you.

Halogen Infra Red
General Electric patented this new technology in 2000. Their intention was to create a bulb that emits about 3/4 as many lumins as an HID capsule at a fraction of the cost. The technology was licensed to Toshiba for automotive use.
The technology involves a specially shaped quartz globe which has multiple layers of semi-reflective materials deposted on the inside surface of the bulb. The coating reflets a portion of the Infra red energy emited by the filament back to the filament causing it to glow hotter and produce more light, which escapes through the uncoated forward portion of the globe. Even though the filament runs hotter, the bulb produces about the same amount of heat as a stock bulb.
Interestingly enough, the 9012 bulb can be used in a 9006 lamp with a simple modification with a Dremel tool or file. Due to federal regulations, we can not make this modification, but you, the end user, can. The material to remove is marked on each bulb.
