Default window tint

The GA law on the front windows is 32%. I can't find 32% film, so I'm going with 35%. My question is, should I put 35% all the way around, or put 35% on the front and 20% or something in the back? I want the darker tint, but is it gonna look uber-goofy with the 2 different shades? I know my uncle had 2 different shades on the Subaru, but I'm not sure what % they were and I don't know how the 35% and the 20% compare to each other.

I'm not sure but your factory windows might have a tiny bit of tint to them already. So 35% on top of factory may put it right at the 32% limit anyway. And yes, go ONE shade, however, some people do the sides one shade and the REAR window darker.

That'* what I was thinking about the factory tinted windows. I wanted to just put 20% all the way around, but I know how the cops around here like to pick on the teenagers and I better not push it.

Knowing from experience, you should either go lighter in the front darker in the back (don't do too big of a jump or it will look really bad) or go legit, the way cops check window tint is a little meter which shines a light beam through the window and gives them a reading. they also sometimes do the driver'* license check through the window. Anything lower than the legal limit in your area results in a set time period to get it removed and you will be back to where you started from. Another way to get dark window tint legally is to get a note from your optometrist that says you are allowed to have dark window tint. hope this helps you out.

The GA law says for a 4 door sedan, 32% in the front and no law in the back. The front windows will DEFINITELY be legit, but I can't decide whether to go lighter in front darker in back, or the same all the way around.

Tint the back darker then the front. You have to use a good brand of tint or you will notice the difference. But I have 10% on the back 3 windows and 30% on the front 2 windows and you really can't tell. Either way, it looks good though.
