What'* the best way to get tree sap off of your car? Not my Bonnie, thank God, but my mom'* car.

Claybar. Depending on how old it is, it may come off very slowly, but it'* one of the safest ways to do it. (Use plenty of surface lubricant, and don't do it in the sun.

MOTHER'* brand claybar, if you ask me. That, with Mequire'* Quick Detailer for a surface lubricant works well. I can tell you for sure that the Mequires will not disolve the Mothers bar, or else I would mix brands. Wash the car first.

Matt, I'm not sure if you saw me but at the KOA when I was changing my tires after the Woodburn drags, I cleaned all the rubber and debris out of my wheel wells with Mothers California Gold. Took about 5 minutes each and they looked brand new again.

You know, I remember seeing ads about that in Car and Driver, I always thought it was a gimmick. Guess I'll have to buy some then...
