Engine Cleaning...
After WCBF, I really noticed haw dirty my engine bay was compared to fellow Bonnevilles. So, before I investigate more into my mysterious shredding belt problem I really needed to get her clean. unfortunatly, it was around 90F and didn't want to be out during the day, so I waited till evening. Then time seemed to fly and it got dark. I'm going to try and get up early tommarow and go at it again. Here'* my progress:
About half way done:
The Wepons of Choice. Simple Green, CDC engine detailer, and toothbrushes I stole outta willwren'* bathroom:

Folks, CD2 is were its at! The engine looks better than new, all the time now.
Looks GREAT John, its amazing how much crap the upper inner part of the hood takes on! Mine was the same way, and it is now after all the rain we've gotten.

Greatest thing about CD2 is that it makes subsequent cleanings easier. I didn't use it the first year I had the SSEi, but the last two years I have, and it'* been much easier to keep it that way. My secret has been kept long enough apparently (maybe I should have hidden that can before all you WCBF bozo'* came to the house).
Both my engines could be eaten off of, year-round.
