Yes. I would call it an arctic white with a slight blue tint.

8000K are about equivalent to what comes in some of the newer luxury cars. I wouldn't worry about the police with 8000K lights, they're not blue enough.

The majority of the luxury cars I see have them with light blue. The Lima area ain't real big on HIDs either (at least not like Chicago where every third car seemed to have them).

I just don't know... I always go for the biggest and best especially if the bigger and best is the same price as regular components. but if i go with 55w, ill have to do some modding and still might be to bright, so 35w is a "smart" choice. and i like the 8000k but i don't want to give the local police a reason to harass me. Cause they watching me like crazy so i don't want to give a reason to pull me over.
35w 6000k is prolly my best bet

Don't be under the impression that you won't have to do this mod anyway. Trust me, you will be blinding people with 35W HIDs without blacking out the bottom of your reflectors. IIRC 35W HID'* have around 3x the lighting power as your typical 55W Halogen bulb. You will get people high beaming you constantly until you do that mod. I know I did when I had 35W 8000k'* in the Regal.

Plus, it makes your car look better anyway.

Then look again. Its extremely obvious that there are dark parts of the reflector inside the headlight.
