The detailer is correct. That'* how I keep water spots off my glass. 50/50 spray and old newspaper. Now, I have no idea what the newspaper does. It'* just a technique my mom taught me and it works.

Uhmmmmm, Billy Mays is dead. I have horribly calcium laden water and spots are the pits. Microfiber takes care of most, and then Mequiars Quick Detail deals with the rest and puts off waxing it longer.

Yeah, I had very hard water in Missouri. Never had water spots on the body though.

I just wash/rinse a section at a time. Then I rinse the entire thing and dry it with a chamois leather shamee. If I wanted to dry it quicker I'd body blade it first THEN take the chamois to it.

i washed my car with dish soap and we have hard water and considering i washed it outside the wind dried the soap onto it plus our hard water made it look really bad.. but considering i was clay barring it anyway it didnt really matter.

The Absorber is hands down the best chamois I've ever used. I used mine as a travel towel on a trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico years ago and I worked like a charm. Mine is 8 yrs old and still amazing. I wash it out in the sink with dish soap every now and then to keep it clean. Store it wet in the tube it comes in.
