I think a semi-transparent that'* just a shade or two off the OEM color would look cool. Coming off the front tires and going down both doors? I was considering a very subtle racing flag checker pattern the same way at one time.
There are vendors on ebay and the net that sell these in vinyl transfer format.

I was looking at these on Ebay,for the lower half of door,from the front wheels back.
I think you can order what size you need ! He sent me pic'* of what they look like on black, Looks grey, no shine though !

somethign like the falmes on that camaro would be pretty cool. its alot more subtle than the ones posted.

Could be cool, could be not. I personally wouldn't do something like this through e-bay, though. If the color of the photo is just a touch off, you could end up in the "not" category.
But, ghost flames could definitely work!!

It looks like to me the flames on the 1987 Z28 are air brushed on the one'* I'm looking at are decals ,I'm sure a huge difference in price !

I chopped his headlight buckets just to see it looked so hawt I wanted to post it (I don't care really) then I looked at the last post date lol 2006 that car is likely blow up by now lol

I was messing around with Paint shop pro 8 and came up with these pic'* !
Was the best I could come up with !
Most likely would lose small flames behind SSEi emblem.
