I was looking to find out what has been the bast method to remove the badges from my car without damaging them. Might want to reuse them after the paint job.

dental floss, to get them off the car, and then get Goo Gone or a similar product to get the rest off

I would recommend waxing the area that the badge occupied

Fishing wire would work WAY better.

I use the plastic Bondo spreaders. Works great. I just took the PONTIAC off the 95 to replace it with SLE.

After removal, I used WD-40 to remove the remaining adhesive, then washed the car.

Thanks for the tips. I do want to save the badges. I might want to use them after the new paint job next spring. That'll be a wait and see call.
