Neons
#2
FYI, I split this post and gave it its own topic. You'll get better exposure that way instead of having it buried at the bottom of pg 2 in your original "Your Ride" thread. I have no knowledge on neons, but someone should chime in shortly.

they have cathodes, led strips, underlights, and tons of stuff for good pricing, cheap shipping, and great customer service. I have shopped from them many times. Cold cathodes are a great alternative to traditional neons, they are cheaper, and usually brighter, and you can order ones with smaller casing.

haha, lights are really simple, what are you planning to do? I will give you a heads up on the cold cathodes, they come with a transformer that may be easily hidden, people have tried to extend wires from the transformers to the tubes and they lose some brightness. This will be the only real bulk of them, but you can hide them pretty easily. I have done under the dash, and under the seats (front and back). Let us know what you are aiming for, and I'm sure we can help you.
Here is a 12" set to show you.
the cathodes plug straight into the transformer (they transformers are dual) and the red wire connects to positive, the black to ground.
Feel free to ask questions and keep us updated on your project!

You might have a little trouble putting them under the back seat, since there isn't too much of a lip really. One thing I did with my underbody lights though is to get/make a piece of material with a little lip to put along the length of the tube. This way you can actually hide the tube so you only see the light coming out of it, looks much cleaner IMHO.
