sap, swirlmark, and small scratch help

Yesterday i washed my car for the first time in a few weeks, and relized it was loaded with swirl marks, sap, and a few small scratches. Is there anyway short of a good buff job to safley remove any or all of these,(i'm not looking for perfect, just less noticiable) cases its a dark cherry color and everything shows up in sunlight

either mothers swirl remover or meguiars scratchX will do a decent job at removing a bunch of the swirls. If you can feel the sap on the car you should probably clay bar the car. (it will make polishing and waxing much easier) If the sap drops are large then look into something that is designed to remove tree sap. (if all else fails and the drops are large enough, WD40, a new razor blade, and a steady hand rarely fails)

Do not be afraid to but your body weight behind the pad when using Scratch X. Proper use of Scratch X will be a good upper body work out.

Be sure to do some before and after pics and post them.

Yeah I just used a ton of scratch-x last weekend on my car and it worked very well. You really have to work it in there though. Also I read that its best to work it perpendicular to the scratch. So if you have a horizontal scratch, rub the scratch-x in vertically.

CLAY BAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

use that first, then use the Meguires scratch x. I am sure you will be happy with the results. Keep in mind that the scratch x will not remove ALL of the swiirl marks, but do one side of the hood / fender/ whatever you need to do, then compare both sides and notice the results yourself 8) There may still be some swirl marks / scratches in the paint, but you will most likely notice a difference.

thanks for all the tips...i just talked to a friend that owns a body shop and after i romove the sap and clay bar it, he'll buff all the swirl marks and small scratches for $60, i will get some before and after pics...the car looks great in the shade, but in direct sunlight it looks awful
