Default removing dealer decal

What is the best way to remove a dealer decal from my car. It is not the standard vinyl letter is is more like a plastic rectangle with the decal engraved into this piece of plastic. If I try to heat it up with a hairdryer will it melt the glue enough underneath to remove it?

Yes, heat worked great for me. I used a heat gun, but a hair dryer will just take a little longer.
