Default Headliner Quick-Fix

anyone got any suggestions?

I have had a bubble over the passenger side in the headliner where it has fallen but it didn't bother me much, but three weeks ago a very little flap came down in the very back near the middle, and now already half of it has come down along the rear just hanging.

I plan on having new doors at some point but the parts car i wanted fell into someone elses hands two days before i got to it that really pissed me off...anyway, I kinda wanted to wait till i get new doors since i have to take it off to get the headliner out. either way i have to wait a while before I can get access to the garage.

i was thinking about thumb tacks or staples but i dont wana do something that might damage the headliner board...

I had the same problem... as a quick fix I tacked it up, but I actually benefitted the most from the binder clips (not paper clips) that I just clipped the headliner (pulled taut as possible) in the rear of the board above the rear window.

These are the types of clips I'm referring to...

It'* good for a temporary fix until you can do something about the headliner for a more permanent solution. They come in all colors, so they can even blend in with your interior while they're there

What is your long-term plan to fix the headliner...
Are you intending to replace the entire headliner with a JY piece?
Do you plan to pull out the current headliner, strip the fabric off, and replace the original (or new) fabric on the current board?
