Never personaly tinted myself but here's an idea. Pick up a few lights from the junkyard and practice on those and when your ready do your set

good idea thought that but wasnt sure..do i need to wet sand and clear coat it?

GoldenBullet Sep 9, 2007 02:23 PM

if anything lower it a little, but do it with new springs.

chromebonne32 Sep 9, 2007 02:25 PM

yea just talked to my dad and said those ocks are bad and a big risk of busting a spring

Honestly, I really like the look of your car as it is. I think that it has the perfect ride height, and the rims, even though they are 20's, aren't overbearing at all. I would leave the ride height just like it is.

I agree with tinting the tails, clear corners, and painted brake calipers and drums. 8)

We all know what we're aiming for when we use the word "lowering" however I cannot imagine or know why you want to raise the car a few inches? I don't see any explanation of that, could you elaborate?

chromebonne32 Sep 9, 2007 05:01 PM

possibly fit bigger rims and stand out from other cars

willwren Sep 9, 2007 05:59 PM

cb32, in response to your PM, no, I don't even have time to THINK about tinting your tails for you. I have far too much work stacked up here already, and don't even really have time for that.

There are enough topics here (over a dozen at least) for you to get a good understanding of how to get the best results.

alright thanks...one ? does clear coat come last or first after the wet sand
