newer engine cover for older seriesII engine?
 
ok guys my engine has the older seriers II engine cover and i really like the newer series II engine cover both engines are series II and mine is a 97 but i want the newer ones will it just bolt up?

in what year did the engine cover change from the older style to the newer one just so i dont have to pop every h-body hood at the junkyead

I think 2000 was the changeover year...and H bodies weren't the only ones with those engines. You could, though a bit harder, find them in Monte Carlo SS's and police Impalas.
