You have 9005 low beam bulbs and 880 fog light bulbs. A 4700k temp is what factory puts in, 6000k is white with a tint of blue and the most usable light, anything higher will be more color and less light. Personally, I would go with a 35 watt 6000k temperature set up and get them from these guys. They are cheaper than most kits and have lifetime warranties. I have 6000k 35 watts in my car, lows and fogs. Purplehazier got his low and fog set up from the company I recommended, he can tell you about their customer service. Some will tell you that the only way is to retro fit projectors for your HID'*.

thanks a million. i really apprectiate it. so the higher the number the more blue it would be. do you have any pictures of what the 6000k look like? oh and how do you hook them up. what are those box looking things? ballasts?

The boxes are the ballast. 55watt ballasts tend to wash out some color because of the light output, i.e. a 55w 8000k looks the same as a 35w 6000k. The range real quick is 3000k is yellow and 10 and 12000k tend to dark blue to purple. 6000k is the most usable light since it'* the closest to the color of the sun. I'll dig up a pic of my car with the lights on...........

Some will say HID'* in anything except projector housings are illegal. The higher up the scale you go the more attention you the police will give you. I haven't had any problems with my set. I am going with a 5000k 35w set in the wifes mustang this summer
