What subsitutes do any of you use when you run out of store bought cleaners for the interior? Do you just use standard hot water and dishwasher soap?
Any idea'*

WOAH there, hold up...dishwashing soap or dishwasher soap?!?! lmao...
I have a suggestion...just go and get more interior car cleaning products....nothing is so urgent that you dont have time to use the right product IMHO.

Sorry I stand corrected, dishwashing soap, and the reason I don't go out and buy it is because I'm bidding on the gallon size on ebay which is much cheaper than in the stores and it'* going to take several weeks to get here, being in Canada and all.
Don't you know, my wife calls me an ebay *****.

the first thing I would do is take a step away from the kitchen products and then another step away from armor all.
neither are all that great.
Take a step towards 303 aerospace protectant.

Ditch the armor all, it'* junk, basically it'* silicone that sits on top of the surface to make it shine.
Any mothers, meguiars, zymol, etc works great depending on what surface you're looking at.
EDIT: on scuff marks on the doors/kick panels etc, get a Mr. Clean Magic eraser. They're for walls inside the home, but work MAGIC on the interior panels.

I use a little bit of soap and warm water to clean the dirt off the plastic down low.
But I've been using Meguiars NXT Tech Protect. The stuff is incredible, doesnt dry out like Armor All and keeps a nice shine to the plastic. I really dont need to clean the dash, just wipe the dust off with a towel. And it lasts a LONG time, it can go well over 2 months without recoat.
