Default LED replacement Taillights and Turn Signals

Looking for LED replacement bulbs for the 3055, 3157, and Turn signal replacements.

And

why did GM use the 9011 instead of 9005 for the GXP High Beams on my SLE, I can't find replacement bulbs less than $50.00 each from the local Nissan dealer..

Last time I looked at autozone they had a lot of LED replacements. The numbers are the same but there would be a different letter on it.

The AutoZone in Cleveland have nothing.. Maybe its the NEO area that has limited selection, Summit Racing may have some but they are pricey..

there are tons of led conversion kit sites, i was looking into them but in the end opted not to because i dont want to fool with resistors on the turn signals. a quick google search will turn up atleast 5 sites, and there about a million sellers on ebay, many in the us. good luck, and keep us posted!

(btw, autozone and all the local retailers stopped selling them because they are illegal in alot of places) internet is your best bet

I've heard good things about superbrightleds.com but haven't personally used them.

A friend of mine bought a bunch of different LED bulbs on eBay and found that the 'spider' ones (the ones with the spring loaded arms) were decently bright. They were around $25 a pair IIRC though and his were 1157 in a Dodge Shadow so your mileage may vary.

My SLE has the GXP Bulbs and I'm looking to improve them.

Full Details, HOW $$$ I;m not looking to break the bank..

The HIR and 9011, I believe are the same bulbs, but I'm not sure.

I heard using the HIR 9011 High Beam Bulb is a good replacement for the 9006 Low beam, with slight modification to the base, and is gives 2500-2900K light.

HIR is probably the best substitute to stock halogen bulbs
if HIR is not bright enough for you then you will need to jump into HID kits and projector retrofits

HOW $$$?
you can buy decent HID kits on ebay that many members here run for like 40 bucks, you can spend more depending if you care for brands, and you can retrofit a projector into your headlight to get the best output out of it.. if you want HIDs could cost you 100 bucks for lowbeam and foglights
if you wanna get the best output itll cost you maybe another 400 bucks on top for projectors

If you wanted to do projectors The Retrofit Souce has these Morimoto Mini projectors I've heard good things about. They run $120 a pair for just the projectors, and you can get them to use either H1 or D2S bulbs.

There'* a couple guys on another forum I frequent that have put these in Grand Prix'* and the output is insane. Plus they're tiny so if you have space constraints like they did (ever see behind an '04-'08 headlight?) that would be a good bet.
