Not so much of a right up, but I added some LED strips to my head lights and they look sweet. I hooked them up to my fog lights.

How'd you do this?

raptor660 06-20-2010 01:43 PM

That is really badass lookin!!! Real eye catcher driving around town at night i bet

Purplehazeir 06-20-2010 01:49 PM

Sweet. Looks great!

GregR906 06-20-2010 03:26 PM

sselover, I got some 60 cm LED strips. They're flexible and I just wired them up to my fog lights. I placed them on the outside of the light. I did take the lens apart but there was no place to mount them, and they do look sweet at night cruising.

Danthurs 06-20-2010 03:28 PM

There's something I hope to do at some point, just never seem to have enough time.

sawgunner 06-20-2010 03:42 PM

looks awesome! nice work!!!

sselover 06-20-2010 04:34 PM

I'm doin this for sure, it looks great!! How do you wire it to your fog lights?

wakefieldl 06-20-2010 04:36 PM

:stupid:

IronWolfe11 06-20-2010 08:31 PM

I would assume just splice it in the pigtails for the lights on each side right? These are frickin sweet looking man. My dad has aftermarket lights on his Ranger that are similar with the LEDs, and I've always wanted head's for my Bonne like that. I would have never thought to do this, LOL. They look really good, and I'm probably going to attempt something like this after my next check. :D

GregR906 06-20-2010 08:55 PM

Like I said, they're hooked up to the fog lights, and thats right. I just used some plastic taps to wire them up. I just jumped into one light and ran a possitive and a negative behind the grille and threw in an inline fuse and tada, done. BTW there is no need to sperate your headlight, there's no good spot to stick em on. I just stuck them to the bottom of the light

SpinEm_90 06-21-2010 12:44 AM

thats pretty awesome!

SignOfZeta 06-21-2010 02:15 AM

Indeed they are. Can you take a picture with these in the dark with the low beams on?

GregR906 06-21-2010 08:56 AM

I will tonight with the underbodys on. Also, yes my tires are one size too small than stock. And well they match but I'm in dier need of new ones. I also have nice amp and cap under the trunk lid with spinner speaker grills. I'll get some of them up soon in my profile soon. Thanks all, I also think they look awesome. The next step is putting in some uni projector halo lights. There are some on ebay and even though they're like 80 bucks, I still dont have enough in this economy.

sselover 06-21-2010 10:45 AM

Can you take some pics of how you connected it, and what it looks like during the day without any lights on?

ekidman 06-21-2010 06:30 PM

Looks nice, reminds me of the Audi headlights I've drooled over for years lol.

94cutlassvert 06-21-2010 11:20 PM

Looks sweet. Not quite a fan of them being on the outside and being wired with the fogs. I would have wired them to a seperate power source so they could run alone but otherwise not bad!

Also, I hooked them up to my fog lights because I didn't want an overload of switches. As of now I have aswitch for my underbody and neons, one for my scanner and performance meter, and one for my strobes. And I also took out my trac button to put a pust button start in.

Black Pearl 06-22-2010 10:32 PM

Looks noce. I've seen them on other Bonne's and never get tired of seeing them

yutzybrian 06-22-2010 10:34 PM

Looks great. It really makes the car stand out

ymmot04 06-22-2010 10:39 PM

Good work on the lights, that will make your car stand out.

wakefieldl 06-23-2010 11:04 PM

those headlights could use some polishing..talk to sawgunner for the right stuff :D

CPR8 06-24-2010 09:04 AM

Those look awesome! Has anyone done it on an eighth gen. Bonnie? Just curious to see how it looks. Once again, great job!

GregR906 06-24-2010 03:22 PM

Thanks everyone. and yeah i wet sanded them once before and polished them up but they faded and yellowed up again

yutzybrian 06-24-2010 05:11 PM
