Default Cleaner Suggestion...

My upper mesh grille has gotten quite grimy over the past few months and I'm looking for suggestions for a cleaner that can get the job done. I've tried Simple Green but it could use some more help. It looks really dull compared with the lower mesh grille that'* only a few weeks old.

I'd rather not take it out. I'm thinking of fabbing a new one and then sealing it along with the new lower grille inserts.

Yeah, assuming it'* bare aluminum, I'm sure it will just get dull over time unless you can somehow buff it.

My aluminum grilles get cruddy over time. Mothers aluminum polish works great if they are bare.

I'll give Mother'* a try. I've got some but was looking for a spray-on solution. It'* hasn't dulled any, just collected a lot of road grime over the winter. We had a really bad winter and my car took an above-average amount of salt, slush, etc. to the front-end this year.
