Lens rubbing compound
 

Seen at the Walmart a kit that you can use to "freshen" up your tail lights or anything plastic for that matter. Its some sort of rubbing compound that only uses water and your portable drill. Anyone ever use that stuff :?: :?:

I've used Meguires Plastix for tails etc...works great. Also heard the polishing ball is great as well.

It probably works fine if you follow the directions.

I haven't used that product... I used some Black Magic fine metal polishing compound I had and it worked fine.

Referring to tail lens. Sorry for misleading title.

I never used the product that your talking about. But I have had good luck with Novus Plastic Polishes. It comes in 3 different formulas. Each one os a little more abrasive than the next. I had real good results with their #2 formula. I've used it on my snowmobile & motorcycle windshields, Tail lights on a few older beater trucks also on my 2000 Silverado's added on goodies.

I first learned about this product 14 years ago when I started working at a injecting molding factory. They used it to take scratches out of some of the lens they were molding. I've seen the product for sale online and various motorcycle catalogs like Dennis Kirk.

Mine are like that too.it looks like it is on the inside , is it not.

Well, just used this stuff today... didn't like the results. Plz see this other thread.
