harofreek00 tried to just use a polishing compound but it wasnt abrasive enough, your probably going to have to go with an abrasive polish or a 2000-3000grit sandpaper, then polish them after

I've used Meguiars Plastic-x with some moderate success. They wont come out new but it will take out the light hazing and minor scratches.
Tip, use a buffer wheel with moderate pressure.

When I got my GTP the headlights had turned that ugly yellow-brown color. I wet sanded with 2000 grit, then used polishing compound and a hi speed buffer. Good as new, you would never know how bad they were by looking at them now.

I have kinda a related question to this. Has anyone used or had any experience with that clear sheet headlight protector stuff. Its supposed to prevent all those scratches and wear to the headlight plastic and that might be something you could do after you polish them up to extend their life. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Yeah, from what I've seen there are several differnt thicknesses of material, and I'd imagine you'd want the thickest you could get, but the thicker it is the less stretchy and moldable it is so I guess it depends on your application. I might have to run by a-zone and see if they sell any of the stuff, can't say I every remember seeing it in a store though.
