Default lets see those painted valve covers!

ok, so who here as painted their valve covers, what colours, what paint did you use, would you do it again, has the collective forum grow tired of me yet?

i'm going to be replacing the valve cover gaskets on my new lesabre and i figure while i've got the covers off i'll go ahead and paint them. i want to see what other people have done on there and how well it held up. i plan on doing a couple quick coats of red, then blocking off the raised centre sections then spraying the whole thing black. should turn out nicely.

feel free to post pics of yours.
