I going to clean and degrease the engine ...
I bought some engine degreaser and tomorrow I'm going to clean the engine, I didn't know which degreaser to get so I bought two different versions.
This one was featured in a Motorweek Goss's Garage segment http://www.gunk.com/product_images/SM_EB1.JPG This one is a name brand I know and trust and it looks better http://www.acehardware.com/graphics/...1253389reg.jpg My engine before... https://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y1...mudflap018.jpg |
Use the Gunk first. It'll cut the grime alot better. Get the big stuff with it.

WOW. I hope to see some better pics afterwards!! You're going to need a toothbrush on that.
|
your gonna love ithe outcome.
then buy some touchup blue paint and cover the rust areas. tape off what you have to. (lightly sanding of course). ;) |
Also. stickers usually dont survive the spray stuff. ;)
|
thanks for the tips guys, I will post after pics up :D

I used Gunk and was very pleased with the results.
By the way...you may want to let your engine sit open for a day or two after using the Gunk. I'm not sure about the other stuff, but the Gunk has a strong odor that lasts for a while. Just remember to cover your sensors. . . . |
