it shudve been made flush, idunno why they added that 1-2 mm gap but it builds up so much crap in there i dont think ive ever managed to completely clean it out, its gotten to the point where im considering going bubblebutt, sorry, just a rant

I just spray a sharp stream to get the junk out and then find the thinnest rag I can (that is car suitable) and push it through and clean the whole underside in one swipe.

ya there is no room between my spoiler....but i just a jet of water everytime i wash..

That was one of my firt threads in the club! Clean under there at least once a year!! On my 98, I think it'* only 4 bolts to pull it. Then clean and wax both surfaces 'til next year.

I'll see if I can find my thread with pics...

I don't think it'* a pain. Just spray it with the pressure washer, then jam the wash mit up in there.
