I have tire wedges and I use the Black Magic tire shine, and it works good.

Hot rims works really well, infact just last night i spend about ten minutes on each wheel and got em good..havent really washed the rims since BFest  Considering i havent drove the car more than 5 miles in the past week and a half..they will not get very dirty!

That's like the stuff I use on the mom-mobile (1997 T&C LXi). Except i got a car wash kit a while back that has a skinny cone-shaped brush that really fits into the small holes. The chrysler cross-lace wheels have small holes too.

That's not my van but it's identical, color and all. As you can see the cross-laces have even smaller openings in some parts. But a good brush works wonders ;). Oh and good brake pads.

I have a brush like that, black fiberglass handle with yellow bristles. Worked fine for a while for me... ;)

this is my secret

i can have all 4 wheels done on my car in 10 minuets or less....try it and you will see

wet the wheel
spray the rim with the cleaner
spray the cleaner on the brush
the bristles of the brush will get in all the little spokes of the corsslace

and done

Boy, am I glad to hear this info. I struggled last night with my crosslace rims for over an hour using everything in the house to try and get down deep in those holes. Nothing worked. I was using a little Tide mixed in a bucket of water. Useless. I eventually got an old toothbrush out and went hole to hole scrubbing the gunk out. These rims hadn't been cleaned, probably ever, so the gunk was pretty serious! Finally, the rims look pretty good (I couldn't scrub every hole, so I'll have to return later). That brush looks like the answer! Also thought about a bottle brush, but that's not really good because you can't slide all the way through, unless you remove the wheels from the car.

Once I get them clean a little weekly touch up should keep 'em shinin'!

Thanks for the info!

PS - I use Eagle One Wet Shine that I apply with the same shop rag, and store in an air tight box (diaper wipes box) so the magic fluid is always on the rag. Works great and lasts about 2-3 weeks depending on weather, washing, and who knows what.

Wow does that stuff really work good, my aerolyte wheels are a pain because they are white and the took all the armor all quick silver off the selves and replaced them with that quick silver II which sucks. So I will try that out what you posted. Heck if it cleans your crossed laced wheels and will surely clean my aerolyte wheels.

I've been using the Hot Rims and brush forever. Tried others and have been let down every time.
