hood paint, can i save it?
 

hey everyone,

this weeks been fun. im just waiting on a good weekend to install the motor for my 1992.

As for the Hood, the paint is not chipping but seems to be "slipping" off in a way. If you havent waxed a car for over a year and let it sit out there not washing it ever....thats what mine has gone through and the paint seems to be blotching, showing some primer but only 6 inches by 6 inches or so. Can i take a compound and try to fix that.......or do i wetsand the entire hood and repaint?
It doesnt feel bad to the touch, so im just wondering.
