Default Can you see me now??

Well after getting 35% window tint and my taillights tinted I ran into a problem. I could not see while backing up at night. Cheap and easy solution? 55W driving lights from Meijer
Lights: $19.16
Wire (only needed black): $5.81
Connectors: $6.48
Total Cost: $31.45

Wired the power source for the lights directly off the battery into and used an in line fuse. Spliced in a wire on the green reverse lamp wire to trigger the relay when I put the car in reverse. Relay is just stuck there with double side 3M tape

Before

After

I can see again lol

looks good..ive always wanted to do that for ***** and giggles just never really had the reason..but looking from that garage pic you need to re-align those a little bit though

Yes I know I gotta play with the alignment. Doesn't really matter much though since they only kick on when I'm backing up.

20ft behind? No idea

Well drive over here one night and I'll let you drive behind me Seriously though when I left for work this morning I kicked it in reverse just to see the difference from inside the car and it looks bright as day out behind me

If I could do that in such a way to where they wouldn't stand out I'd be all for it.

I might do it to the truck though depending on how bright the new tails are on it.
