More Useless Buttons YAY!
I never did post any pictures of my TC Pod, partly because i never really had it on completly, there was a plastic nub sticking out that i had to file off in order for the pod to slip in and click....but anyway
picture:
I combined 3 TC pods so that all the buttons were on one, what aggrivated me the most is that between years the way each was put together seemed backwards or completly differnt, but i made my way around it and all the buttons are push-able and have the slight 'click' when pushed...i would even put the lightbulbs in if i wanted but i will be needing a sautering gun for that to work
so now i can be like dont push that button, and Alex, my freiend, being how he is would push it and it does nothing YAY!

yes GM changed the design on the pods when the introduced the CCR in 94....the connector is different from the 92-93 pods where there is no CCR....cool that you got it to work tho

Do what my did in a truck he got to play with. Run power from that button to the springs in the power seat. He also labeled it "DO NOT PUSH", so guess what everyone did... Only once.

Why do you need a soldering gun to get the lights to work?
The harness for the pod should be in the console already. I just plugged a pod into my car and it lit up. The shift button LED'* even cycle as they should when the buttons are pushed.
With the seat buttons, i used an inline crimp to connect the illumination bulbs.
