HID headlights

can you use any projector bubble (halogen or xenon) or dose it have to be the one for hid's

the projectors for xenon bulbs are different than the projectors for halogen bulbs, halogen projectors can be modified so they work well with xenon but I'm not sure how, and make sure you don't get the "8000K HID XENON" Bulbs at Autozone or ones that have a filament in them with a blue coating on the glass

ok so i should get cadillac or bmw headlights out of the jy if i want to run hid's. I dont like the after market fake bulbs they never last and they are not that bright im goin to get hid's from xenonpro.com thanks for your help

well a lot of the newer cadillacs have HIDs but to make it easy I would just go with the BMW ones

those are easier to find all i want are the bubbles out of em then i have to figure out how to put them in my headlights

thats where a lot of spare time is spent with a dremel and a spare set of housings because it might take you about 3-4 weeks if you can put a few hours in a week so you need another set of headlights
