Hi guys, first post. And I need help!!

I bought a 95 LeSabre and it came with pontiac wheels. I changed the pads and rotors and now the driver rim is hitting the caliper.
The hub hole(big hole in middle) in the wheel is a little worn out but I rotated back wheel to front and still rubbing.
I don't know why this happened. It was fine before I took wheels off to do brakes and I put same new pads and rotor on passenger side and no problems there.
What'* wrong!!??

I'm thinking offset on pontiac rims is different than factory buick and now the hub is worn down and seating wheels too close?

For the record I think they are late 80'*/early 90'* Bonneville rims.

The wheels should be the same. If the right side went with no problems, and your having problems on the left side, then there is a problem with the left side. To test this you can swap the front wheels. I would check the front rotor and caliper to make sure it'* seated correctly.

I took apart the brakes once but I'll recheck. I've done many a brake job and never seen this happen. Everything with the brakes went like normal and I only noticed when I went to move the car and the front whell was locked and sliding instead of rolling.

Can you post a pic of the rims, or rims that look like them?

Oh, I should add they are 15", not 16''. I dont know what the factory 95 buick rims should be

buicks had options.15s in steelies and 16s in aluminum.my 97 has 15 inch steelies you should check the holes in the caliper that your floater bolts goes thru and the bolts themselves to ensure neither are damaged and causing movement..If you look on your drivers door in the jamb area near the latch there should be a sticker that says the stock wheel and tire size also

I find it odd that one side fits, and the other does not.

This is what boggles my mind too!! Like I said the wheel hub hole has a little wear but that just centers it I believe, has nothing to do with spacing.

And it first did it I thought it was the caliper hanging up bc the brakes were that bad on that side. So I changed the caliper with a new one and it still did it and I realized that it was the wheel hitting the caliper.
My point is the slide pins and everything are new and good and still doing it.

It is only hitting on part of wheel, not the whole way around but I don't know how it would be wrapped just from taking them off the car long enough to change the pads and rotors.

Unless it has been warped or bent the whole time, and it wasn't detected until now because the calipers are further out.
