What do you expect to happen? Simple green isn't caustic or anything, its completely non-toxic and a totally gentle cleaner for almost any surface. Basically, if you shouldn't get water on your exhaust wrap, you probably shouldn't get simple green on it.

Simple Green seems to have a mixed following. Some have had great luck with it while others have had it ruin finishes and such. I had a bottle I used last year that was fine, but since have been using a Zep Citrus degreaser that has worked well. I think as long as you dilute it at least 50/50 with water it will probably be fine.

I used to use SimpleGreen when I lived in the US. & is the only deagreasser that wouldnt damage my hands. & it was great on removing grease.
But back to topic, it would probably be a good idea to cover your wrap with plastic so it wount get wet.

I have red header wrap on the exhaust cross over and use simple green, diluted 4:1.
No problems, just rinse well, dry with a leave blower or compressed air.
