Default Heads up for Meguiars fans!!

I had a shipment of my detailing products delivered today and I brought up Meguiars just for fun. 3M Company has bought them out and their prices will double or triple in the coming weeks. So, my friends out there who use these products faithfully, the tire dressing for example will be going as much as $140.00/gallon as for comparison, the product I use with equal or better results goes for $21.80/gallon that I bought today. Not everyone will buy a gallon of tire dressing obviously, but you can expect to see significant price increases immediately at all retail outlets.

What'* my point here, well I said elsewhere about my opinion on Meguiars and I'm not going any further with it. But I will say I can get you superior cleaners, degreasers, waxes, polishes, and tire dressings at a third of the cost with equal or better results...

So why do I bother with this? because I care how lovely your ride looks where ever you are, and I take extreme pride in having mine look that way and all my customers. Take it this way, for the average bloke who wants to gain showroom looks and have it last for more than 5-10 washes you can spend a good amount of money on cleaning supplies, or you could spend less and have it last up to 4 months (depending on where you live) with the same result. Do I sound like Billy Mays??? Okay then...I accept that..but I do daily inventory on all vendors in all markets who profess to have the best

Cheers
Steve-O
:Welcome

Thanks Eva,

I was a huge Meguiars fan 25 years ago when the product first surfaced, it was the best available polish, cleaner, and wax out there, then they got so big and put all the products in all retail outlets that it somehow got beyond their control, and the prices went with it..Something else you may want to investigate in is Nuvite Chemical out of Brooklyn, NY.....There products are amazing and I use them on very expensive World War II fighters (P-51, Corsair, and P-38 Lightning) the crews swear by this stuff and it is available to the average person through their website...

I still like the Meguiers NXT 2.0 Put it on last fall and still beaded water in spring. Winter was funny because ice would melt, then bead up on the hood and freeze.
