does anyone no how to repair a panint chip..
hi i recently got my car painted at macco and 3 weeks later on my driver'* side back door i noticed that the paint on the door handle is peeling the size of a dime already and on the same door but down more right above the black molding i have a quarter size paint chip where the paint has fell off down to the metal and the hole is starting to crack.
i contacted macco and fought with them and all i got was there is no warrant on paintjobs. only bodywork. now there was nothing wrong with my old paintjob it was just old and faded. so i dont see how it could have just fallen off already like this. anyway i called my creditcard company and made a complaint and im in the process of a dispute to get my money back but no one else (body & paint shops) will touch my car since macco painted it. they will only offer repaint the whole car.
can anyone tell me how to repair this my self before it get worse and i need to redo my whole door.. i would appreicate some advice or help with this one.. i can put pics to better let you'* help me if pics are needed let me no.. thanks..

Sorry to say I don't think you can fix it. If it'* peeling, I'm sure it will continue to peel. That'* the trouble I've heard with Maaco. They actually do a decent job of painting, it'* just that they put nothing into prep work. That'* why it'* so cheap. They probably didn't do anything to your old paint before they sprayed it.

Gosh, I should have read the trhead before searching, lol. I went and found info on paint chip repair kits...THEN read your post...D'OH!
Like said, this is not a paint chip repair, this is peeling due to poor or lack of prep prior to painting. If Maaco won't help, then pursue your refund and take it to a shop that will prep it correctly and back it up.
That sucks, but looks like your only option at this point.
