Default Fixing hole in rear bumper cover ?

My 93 SSEi has a hole in the passenger side rear cover . I can't find a red cover or anything really for a 93 SSEi that isn't broke or damaged , and if I do well you can guess the troubles I am having . I asked a body shop where I used to live and they could repair it for about the same price as if I found what I was looking for 200 - 250.00 . I never asked what they would do or use or how to fix it in case I found time myself to do it . ANY SUGGESTIONS ??

If that price includes paint, JUMP on it.

Othewise, I'd use fiberglass bondo. It'* something you've got to be familiar with beforehand.

I backed into a bush in front of my house several years ago. It put a small crack in my bumper cover on the driver'* side by that little red reflector. My body shop wouldn't touch it, unless they took the whole thing off and redid the whole thing with new paint, and wanted like I dunno, $1000 or some stupid cr@p. I fixed it myself with some epoxy, some spot putty, and some duplicolor paint with an airbrush. It'* not perfect, but I figure some day I'll find a shop that will repaint my whole bumper cover for cheap. If I could get it all done for $200, I'd jump on it.

My old bumper cover was cracked in several places when i got the car, and dad laid fiberglass along the inside. It held well for about four years. After i got rear ended, I found an undamaged junkyard cover (and rebar) for $150 and had it painted for $150.

I appreciate all the suggestions . I will try to get a pic of the hole . I also thought about fiberglass but I wasn't sure if it would work with plastic ? I guess at this point though I don't have much to loose . Any kind of fixing ox the hole would be better than the hole itself ! Thanks everyone !
