Default How do you attach that chrome trim stuff?

I'm about to order new chrome trim (the tape-like stuff that runs along the sides of the doors and along the front and back bumpers) for my '93 SE Bonneville, but I'm not sure how you're supposed to attach it. I guess the old trim will just peel off if I pull on it hard enough...but to get the new trim on, is there some sort of special glue that you're supposed to use that won't melt in the heat, harm car paint, dissolve when it gets wet, etc.? Any advice that can be provided would be greatly appreciated!

Peel off the backing and stick it on. It has adhesive on it when you get it. MAKE SURE it'* a good fit and starts and ends at the right spots the first time. It'll also help to do it when it'* comfortably warm outside.
