H.I.D. Relay for '03 G.A.

I got another H.I.D. kit and this one is for the G.A. My question is do I need to run the relay kit for an '03 (with newer wiring then the '92)?

Thanks!:mg

Had to use the relay kit after all when connected the HID kit...

why ??

whats the relay kit for ??

Relay is to be used to power the balasts for the HID's..well I thought that I didnt need to run the Relay Kit due to the car beening newer and the wiring to be superior to my '92 Bonnie...well thats what I get for thinking!

But what are you trying to achieve with the relay kit ??? thats the question here, I have several HID kits in GM's from 00 to 04 and have never used such a kit

I don't know if it is the kit that I have on my cars or not yet, I have had to use this kit....(basically you have a harness that goes to power and ground, then runs to each balast and it acts as a switch)

Ive been told it's also hit or miss with the grand prixs as well.

I just ordered a 35w hid kit from DDMtuning for my 2001 gp, guess I'll find out if i need the harness.

easy install and lights work fine.

no harness needed.
