Thanks to Steve (Sawgunner) I was able to add yet another appearance modification to my car, this time a GXP spoiler.

Here it is right after I pulled it out of the box:

Attachment 18709

Got any flaws sanded out and all smooth and ready for primer last night:

This afternoon I sprayed the primer on and sanded again, ready for Paint:

Mixing up some paint:

All painted and cleared and ready to put on the car:

For those who might be interested in how these cars look without a spoiler..almost resembles the last body style aurora from the back..but all in all it just looks wierd:

Here is the car with just the center section. I actually liked the look of it just like this..and from the side it made it more pronounced:

But it looks even better yet with the side pieces:

And here is how it looked before:

Before:

After:

It's not a drastic change by any means..and anyone who doesn't know Bonnevilles would never know it's different than what is supposed to be on there..but I like those subtle things that make the car look better.

The car is dirty, but I will get it cleaned up and out for some nice pictures one of these days, since it has been a long time since I had a "photoshoot"

I like the new look much better. At least you painted it right and not with a rattle can. It looks great.

Thanks guys! And yes Steve's car lives on..haha Kind of weird how pieces of cars end up all over the place.

It would not have been possible without him.

I have a few more projects planned that should continue to make the car look even better.

stay tuned....

I am on the west coast right across from you..about 2 - 2 1/2 hours away aprox.

I don't paint full cars, I just do smaller areas like bumpers, fenders, spoilers, trim etc.. I don't have the equipment to paint larger areas. A full bumper is about as large of an area as I go. I'm a mobile unit that does most of my work at dealers to get their used cars ready to sell.

As for scratches, I can wet sand them and buff entire car if that is what you are looking for. Keep in mind if a scratch is too deep that it can't always be wet sanded out and the only way of getting rid of it is to repaint. (generally if you can feel it with your fingernail, your not getting it out)

I do touch up work on chips, scratches that can't be buffed and things people don't want to go all the way and paint.

That about covers anything involved with paint that I do..other than things like tinting lights, headlight restoration, and wheel restoration.

I don't do any paintless dent removal. I was trained and certified in doing it and did it for a while, but people who do that, ONLY do that, which is why they can do great work, and efficiently. It just took me too much time, and time is money, since I do too many other things I chose to just drop it.

I also do interior repairs as well haha..I can fix rips, tears, cracks, cig burns in leather, velour, and vinyl. I also do dyeing and stain removal.
