Default Clean up time

I got my 00ssei today and want to clean er up
What is the best way to clean rims,brake dust,exhaust tips,engine
For rims I have steel & chrome cleaner I bought will this clean tips too as tips arent lookin good.
For engine I have a degreaser can I spray it all over ,or is there something other than battery and alternator I should not spray or rinse.
Also any tips / I am changing fuel filter , tranny fluid , thermostat, pcv , plugs, coolant anything else thankyou.

using chrome polish will do the trick, I'd suggest U get ceramic break pads so you don't have to worry about cleaning them every week,

Yea, make sure you cover up the ALT before washing the engine bay, the battery isn't located in under the hood any longer (I guess from what I'm told)

Most of these things U can do with ease

Thanks, first dumb question how do you get the engine cover off, over the oil filler. Sorry beginning again use to my 90sse.

You have to remove the oil filler neck and the top nut. Sould be in your owners manual.

Crank the oil filler neck off. The side the cover out toward the front of the SSEi, and then take the oil cap of the filler neck and put it right on the vavle covers. Your set *I do the last step not to get anything in my motor*.

Does it pull off (filler neck) or unscrew dont want to break it. Didnt see it in the manual and havent got a chiltons yet.

I think it is the same with a supercharger. Ummm just take the neck off, lift it up a little bit and it will come right off. Its easy my son does it!

Thanks it unscrews it was just tight.Wanted to be sure , as it is only plastic.

I used a SOS pad and some elbow grease on my exhaust tips last summer, came out not bad.
