Default brake paint

hey guys
i plan on puttin 19 or 20'* on my bonneville but the rear brakes are extremeley rusty. any one know if i can paint them or if there is a way to remove the rust. i dont want to damage the braking of the car, or does anyone know how much new ones would cost?

mine were the same way when i put on my 18'*, so what i did was get some sand paper and sand them down enought to remove most of the rust and bought some duplicolor to match my car and just painted the drums and the calipers.
