Wheel repair?
I have two Ghetto Golds that are pretty chewed up. I am wondering if these can be like sanded or filed down and repainted? I don't care if they don't come out perfect, but I would like them to look better.
Can this be done? How hard would it be?
Would pics be helpful in answering this question? I'll get some on here as quick as possible.
My other two are in pretty good shape. I may even just buy 2 new (used) if I have to.
While on the wheel topic, whats the best way to clean my GG'*?

i dont know about refinishing so much, but for cleaning i always use sos pads. they cut about nay grime, and have never scratched at all. for your cross-laced wheels, id start with that, leave the soap on, the use a wire brush for the really tight spots by the lugs.

cleaning.. use mother'* all finish wheel cleaner... not the one specifically for chrome and such.. it is possibly the best and easiest i'v ever used.. just sprayon and rinse two minutes later then if you wanna go nuts.. use some fantastik in spray bottle with tooth brush for those really caked on spots
