Fog lights?
Ok, I tried searching, but didn't come up with anything worth while. So... What do you guys/gals think are the best fog lights? and/or do you recommend projector fog lights or regular(reflector) style fog lights. Just to clarify, I'm not planning to do any off-roading (although she does sit pretty high), its just that with winter coming up I find it hard to dodge pot holes on wet roads with what I have now (stock headlights with high beam bulbs in low beam side, and no, I'm not going to do a drop in HID kit. I actually want on coming traffic to see where they're going).
I saw these on cheap-bay and thought they were interesting: Hella E13 Projector Fog Light Lamps H3 HID KIT ready#71 on eBay.ca (item 380115262684 end time 31-Oct-09 21:30:00 EDT)
But like I said, they look cheap. I'm looking for something that will last. I heard "Angle Eyes" thrown around here a couple times. Thoughts?
Thanks,
Ashton.

I have stock reflector style fog lights with some ultra-white bulbs. Fog light'* aren't really going to help you with seeing potholes on rain soaked roads though.

Yeah, my stock fog lights weren't in too good shape, they had glass lens that were pitted with stone chips. I know fog lights won't help much with pot holes, but I need a way to get more light on the road. I don't want to throw brighter bulbs in the headlamps or put HID'* in, the glare will make it impossible for on coming traffic to see at night.

all depends on what color spectrum HID'* that you put in as long as you dong go past like 7000k or 8000k your gonna be fine anything more than that is obnoxious, if you dont want to go the HID route you could go get a set of silverstar ultras they'll set you back about 50$ but they're pretty nice from what I've herd, i have one step lower than that on my 86 lincoln town car and they're amazing compared to my regular old halogen bulbs

I've tried SS and SS ultra'*, their not that much better and certainly not worth the $50, right now I have GE xtravision 9005 bulbs modded to fit in the low beam socket. The reason I don't want to go HID with the stock headlight assembly is because up till 95', the headlight lens were used to refract and aim the light(whereas 96' and newer headlight assembly'* uses the reflector to refract and aim the light) . HID bulbs are longer than standard bulbs and this changes the focal point of the light against the lens creating excess glare and blinds oncoming traffic. I have tried to do a projector retrofit, see: https://www.gmforum.com/t272597/ . But that ended up as an Epic Fail. So now I'm looking for fog lights to help put more light on the road and also looking for headlights from a 96' to try part 2 of the retro fit.
