GXP to SSEi parts questions
According to the thread here:
http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...light=gxp+ssei
Some GXP parts are compatible with our cars. The GXP parts i'm looking at getting are:
- the rear tail lights and reflector strip in the middle of them.
- front plastic bumper cover which would probably include the grill and fog lights?
- instrument panel.
Assuming that these all would work in my SSEi, how would one use the GXP cluster where the voltage gauge is in place of the boost gauge?
The reason i ask these questions is because i finally got to see a GXP up close inside and out and i REALLY want that instrument cluster. Or maybe there'* just a way to make the gauges in our cars with a white background instead of black?

tail lights, no problem
front bumper, yes, but you will need a lot of unseen parts, as I'm sure the foam piece behind the bumper is different, and those fog lights are not gonna be cheap.
the cluster will probably not work in an SSEi because there is no boost gauge. I dont think anyone has plugged a GXP cluster into an SSEi thought, so you would be the test dumbie

I think the cluster might work. GM used different pin positions on the connectors for many things... Currently I am running an SSE cluster with a volt gauge in my SSEi. However I am not 100 postive that they used the same connector GXP as SSEi.
