Finished Grille and Arrow

I finished painting the grille and Pontiac arrow on my car silver. I have a few pics of it that you can see in this thread, and then some more pics of it in action in my other thread here: http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=61045

Clearing that arrow was tedious work with a razor blade. I used the same method that dillcc used to re apply the arrow using 3M double sided mounting tape. Works good so far! Here are the pics of the process.

No grille looks funny:

Grille heavily masked off:

I have no pics of the arrow process because I couldn't find any charged batteries, but here is the end result

Before clear corners, new turn bulbs, silver grille and arrow:

Overall I think it improves the look greatly, and goes well with the blue color of the car. Now all I got to do is get a fog light! haha

Let me know what you guys think!

Nice job makes the front end seem more agressive.

Great work!! It's nice to see it worked that well for someone else too!! Did the tape and pull method work to get the arrow off? "Tedious" is right for the razor blade work, but definitely worth it in the end. That pic with your grille masked off brought back some memories too. Isn't that fun working the tape around all those curves?

I actually took a very small flathead screwdriver and gently pried it off. And yes, great fun with the tape on the curves. Clearing the arrow was much worse than masking the grille however.
