Default Front Lower Spoiler.

On a 95 SSEi, does it seperate for the upper part the front facial. The reason I ask is mine is all scratched up and I would like to remove it to sand primer and paint this summer. The front lower spoiler that I'm talking about has a black plastic trim along the botton that is bolted on, but unfortuantatly mine is almost ripped apart.

Thanks

Gosh, I can't remember, but I think so. The black pplastic part on mine was taken off a long time ago, due to arguments with parking curb stops.

I know that black plastic piece can be unbolted lash, I've already removed most of the damaged parts. The part I want to repaint is the same color as the car and is not on the se, or le I think.

gojo83, the 2002 SLE doesn't have the spoiler I'm talking about on the 95 SSEi, so I'm not sure what your referring to.

I don't think we're talking about the same spoiler.

Your thinking of doing away with the spoiler just below the driving lights? That'* going to change the way the front of the car looks. Why would you want to do that?

Well it was finally warm enough to check the front spoiler and it doesn't seperate at all. It'* part of the bumper so it'* impossible to seperate and paint.

My loss.

Oh, you're talking about the lower part of the bumper cover :?

there is a small black spoiler/air deflector underneath the bumper cover too that does come off. you hardly see it at all and around here there are some places around town that I bottom out on that.
