Default NOT twin turbo AWD

It is a bit of a long story but here it goes. I run a a small graphics business as well as do commercial sales for an auto parts supplier. One of my accounts wanted me to do SS decals and Super Sport lettering on his 06 Chevy truck, not factory look, just personalized. I did just what he asked for, and some of his mechanics were kidding him about it not being a "real SS". One of his mechanics has a SSEI. I thought I would give them something to laugh about so I put the twin turbo awd decals on the car. It got quite a few laughs, and has made for some interesting question lines. I had not taken the decals off at the time I took the pictures of the taillights.

Default tails

I thought about collecting a few messed up pairs, fixing them up, and putting them on ebay. Although I am not sure about the demand.

Default stencils

I just cut 1/4" wide stripes out of a low tac vinyl. I cut the stripes so they would be longer than the taillight. I start the stripe just to the inside of where the black on the light starts and continue the stencil off the other end. When all the stripes are laid out I take a razor knife and cut the other end just to the inside of where the black out starts. I make sure to prep the surface prior to taping, then once taped I spray with trim paint. I am sure you could use a 1/4" masking tape, I use a product called stencil mask. It is much easier to work with.
