Default Cleaning engine compartment

Who knows the best and easiest way to safely clean the engine compartment (minimal oil/grease, mostly dirt and dust)?

Thanks!

Do a search for ENGINE in this forum. You'll find plenty of posts about that.

I just did mine at a Do-it-yourself car wash. Covered up my air filter and gave it a coat of suds, then rinsed.
