It started out simple enough, a Power wash, a sponge with Armorall Wash Wax & Protect and scrub the old PA good! :look:
https://www.gmforum.com/attachment.p...ine=1412120359
However after discovering the hood felt like 1000 grit sandpaper....
It was time for some clay bar work to say the least !:idea2:
https://www.gmforum.com/attachment.p...ine=1412120359
So with using the supplied Detailer Spray and rubbing the clay all over...
I think you can see how much crap/small particles were in the paint!
https://www.gmforum.com/attachment.p...ine=1412120359
After using the supplied cloth to remove the detailer...
It was time for Meguires #2 polish to really get to the next level...:wow:
https://www.gmforum.com/attachment.p...ine=1412120359
Now the final step..wax. I applied the quality Meguires Quick Wax !:-D

I have always wanted to know with the hood this aerodynamically smooth...
you must cut though the wind better & get better fuel mileage?

The Roof / Trunk is darn slippery now too! I hope to see 3mpg better LOL.. :alcoholic:

doing a full hand wax on that thing must be alot of work, must have felt quite ambitious.

Ya Guys a full size sedan is a lot of work & a great workout! I refuse to use a buffer!
My shoulder felt like Daniel's last night...
After a good rest overnight I feel great... with power restored...
Now it is time to do the 4x4 ! HOY YA !

AWESOME JOB.!!! I put two coast of turtle wax on my 94 park ave. Its almost thesame shade og that light blue. These cars awesome to look at. Mine has 63,000 on it.

Looks great man, made me tired thinking about doing it all, lol
I have a buffer, but usually do it by hand, I am way overdue a waxing, I'd detail mine up if I had somewhere to hide it from the trees spewing pollen and crap all over my car!
I hate the trees where I live, they are way too close!
