Default Painted Grille

I had been thinking about painting my grille, and now that I've seen how it looks on dillcc'* car I really want to. I'm stuck on whether I should paint it silver or chrome however. What do you guys think would look better? I need a second opinion. I'm also going to try and clear the arrow too.

I think the 'fake' chrome would be the least preferred. Silver would be better, but how about a nice gunmetal that matches your rims? (Might tie things together nicely)

Just a thought, I haven't actually seen any like this.

Make sure you spray it with clear otherwise it will chip. Don't learn the hard way.

Yeah thanks for the tip, I just went down and bought silver and a clear coat finish. Don't have time this week but hopefully next week I'll get it done and maybe get some pics up! I'm also getting window tint done next week and maybe new fog lights installed, so some big changes coming

Yes it has. Although the window tint will be the most expensive thing that I will be doing to it, unless any unexpected mechanical issues come up *knock on wood*

And sometimes the Boost bug needs to hassle you into finally putting the parts on the car

Glad you're going w/Silver...I agree and think you'll be happy with that.

I painted mine in May... I used a Krytox Fusion paint specially made for plastics. The can said it was Chipproof. And it is. No chips whatsoever in three months (daily driver).
