DO NOT use Armor-All Tire Shine!
After one application, it has turned my tires quite brown. I've always used Eagle 1 with only slight browning problems in the long term, but this armor all stuff i got for my birthday is off the charts in a bad way. Does anyone know a good trick for getting the brown off?

Both should work. Your'e talking about Westley'* Bleech-white or somethin like that. Good stuff.
I use Mequiars tire shine or the No-touch stuff. Both work great. However, I've recently been playing with CD2 engine detailer, since I ran out of tire goop, and the results so far are longer-lasting.

Having a pick up I learned the best way to scrub the rubber of the tire clean is a little cleanser and a brush...takes dirt and all right out..leaves them looking good..

Are you talkng about the gel that comes in the orange squeeze bottle? Because I disapointed with that stuff too
I use that on my tires too. No matter how brown I get the white lettering on my Jeep'* tires get (and they get pretty crappy offroad) they always come back white as new, with a nice black sidwall

Wow Hans, i never saw that thread, can you send me a link?
I sprayed the stuff on a sponge and then wiped the tire with the sponge so my new rims should be okay. I can't imagine how just oily tire shine could strip paint, especially when produced by a company dedicated to automotive protection.
Thanks for the tips, I'll try dawn and a brush when i get home. I may even have some tire bleach leftover for the oldsmobile'* whitewalls. ( I just took my last final of the year )
